Hey guys,
If you follow any of my social channels, you already know that thanks to Mitsubishi, I will be heading to Glamis Dunes (California) to participate in the 2020 Rebelle Rally 5th Anniversary Edition in less than a week.
Since hearing about the all women’s off-roading navigation event, it has been on my bucket list.

What is Rebelle Rally: The Rebelle Rally is the first women’s all out-door, off-road navigation rally raid in the United States. Blending the love of driving with the ultimate challenge of precise navigation, the Rebelle tests the competitors skills over 8 days of competition.
When: October 8, 2020 – October 17, 2020
Where: The Rally covers more than 1,200 miles of terrain (Nevada and California desert) using nothing but a compass and map.
Vehicle driven: Mitsubishi Outlander Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (the first PHEV to compete in the Rebelle).
Competitors: U.S. Army combat veterans Rachael Ridenour and Kristie Levy.
Charity: Record The Journey

Media
I know you guys are wondering where I fit into all of this Rebelle Rally glory. Well, although I will not actually be competing, I am attending as a guest of Team Record The Journey and Mitsubishi Motors.
Mitsubishi and the Rally put together an entire glamping/social media station to make the media as comfortable as possible while we share our hearts out on our channels. Additionally, they have prepared some cool training, and a few very exciting interactive off-road driving courses to prepare us for the sand dune experience.
Covid-19
I’m not sure about you guys, but this will be the first time that I am traveling since Covid-19. Yes, I am a little nervous. However, the Rally is serious about the safety of their participants.
In order to participate, ALL teams, staff and media are required to submit an updated negative PCR COVID-19 test upon arrival.
Additionally, the Rally:
- is 100% outdoors
- is restricted to a small group
- is a confidential course
- doesn’t allow spectators
- only works with careful and diligent participants
- is self contained to prevent community contact
- requires mandated on-site COVID-19 testing, face masks and social distancing
Rebelle Rally Packing List

Although the Rally is taking it easy on media, they recommended specific packing items to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. To be completely honest, I am still prepping and only about 40% packed, which is really not that bad considering I have about a week before leaving.
Check them out below…
Packing List:
- light jacket and slightly warmer jacket
- light gloves and scarf
- your go-to mask/bandana/PPE
- long and short sleeved t-shirts

OK guys, follow along on my social media channels to get an up close and personal look at my off-roading skills.
