I love hanging out in Miami. There are so many amazing things to do, and I love Miami’s Latin flair! Anytime I visit I always feel like it’s an adventure!
This past week, I celebrated Hispanic Heritage Month with Toyota by driving the all-new striking and very sporty 2020 Corolla around Miami and indulged in the Latin culture. During our time together, we visited several different locations, including Little Havana, Wynwood, Hialeah, and North Beach. It was definitely an incredible and memorable time visiting hidden gems with a Latin flair.
Miami City Guide
1. Little Havana ( El pub Restaurant)

Our first stop was Little Havana, where we drank “Cafecito” (coffee) and attempted to play Dominos. LOL! That’s another story for another time! HA!
Anywho…
This was the first time I tasted Cafecito, a.k.a., Cuban style espresso, and I have to say it was a nice and tasty pick me up.
For those of you who don’t know, El pub Restaurant is a down-home Cuban kitchen that serves breakfast, lunch & dinner, where you can play dominos on a daily basis with the locals. As Latinos say, Dale!!!!!
Also, if you have time, don’t forget to stop at the iconic Domino Park, which is only walking distance from the restaurant.
Note: Maximo Gomez Park, or also known as Domino Park is one of the central meeting places in the Little Havana neighborhood of Miami.

El pub Restaurant: 1548 SW 8th St, Miami, FL 33135
2. Wynwood (The House of Bass also known as “The Boom Box”)

Second stop Wynwood, MI, I can’t express how much I love this area. The Corolla crew met at the incredible boombox mural (spray-painted by @trek6 and Ishmael) after leaving El pub, and it was all about learning a bit of history and photo ops.
Note: Wynwood is known for its colorful murals, culture, food & fun. It is literally an outdoor museum showcasing large-scale works by some of the world’s best-known street artists.

The Boombox mural: 594 NW 23rd St, Miami, FL 33127
Cost: The Wynwood Walls are open to the public free of charge.
3. Hialeah (Stephen’s Delicatessen)

Stephen’s Delicatessen has been open since 1954 and is the oldest operating deli in Miami-Dade. Yep, definitely a part of history!
I loved everything about it, from the original booth that we sat in while we ate, to the delicious classic NY Style Deli food. As soon as I walked in I felt the positive energy and when I bit into the Vegan Reuben I knew I would be visiting again soon. #delish!

Outside of the inviting atmosphere and insanely delish food, the women’s bathroom is decorated with the face of legendary Walter Mercado. He is a famous Spanish soap opera actor who later became the most famous astrologer and the Latin Community, adores (and worships) him. If you stop by you have to check it out. It is really something to see. I heard Spiderman is on the men’s wall. I wish I could have taken a looksie, but I will have to take their word for it! LOL!
Oh and while there don’t forget to ask about the speakeasy located in the back of the deli!

“The deli culture is dying in this country and especially in Miami,” says Kush. “Here is one that’s been doing the same thing for 60 plus years and was about to go away. As a lover of this place and a lover of delis, I’m so proud to help bring it back stronger than before.”
Stephen’s Delicatessen: 1000 E. 16th St., Hialeah, FL 33010
4. North Beach ( Broadmoor Hotel)

Last stop, The Broadmoor Hotel. This amazing hotel is located on a family-friendly block in North Miami Beach. In this case, you kinda have the best of both worlds. It is a lot less congested, yet you are still close to several South Beach attractions and get the same incredible views.
While there I had one of the best nonalcoholic drinks I have ever tasted called, the Something.tonic.lime drink. #delish!
Note: Although we didn’t actually experience the hotel, the restaurant’s 1940’s Art Deco charm, drinks, customer service, and the view was wonderful.
Cheers!!
The Broadmoor Hotel: 7540 North Terrace, Miami Beach, FL 33010
A Must Visit

Note: The starting price of the 2020 Toyota Corolla is $23,100.00.
